Hi, I’m Roxi Woodside!  Growing up in a small farming town in Iowa, I was always a member of the local 4-H club and a participant in our county fair. I showed livestock as well as various projects. Ever the overachiever, my mom pushed me to enter every category available each year and thus began my crafting hobby. I made everything from picture frames to pillowcases, candles to tie blankets and even some our favorite family recipes.​Fast forward 20 years and I’m on the hunt for a plush pumpkin to add to my living room fall décor. I had searched so many stores and websites and couldn’t seem to find the perfect pumpkin. Nothing was the right fit for my space or budget. After another failed trip to the store, my husband jokingly asked why I didn’t just make one. That simple joking question sparked an idea. A wonderful, awful idea. If I can’t find a pumpkin, I’ll make one instead!​I gathered my supplies and set to work on my first pumpkin. Through trial and error, and some help from my wonderful mom and amazing husband, our first pumpkin was made. Once I had the process down, I made a few more sets in different colors and patterns and started sharing them with my friends and family. And thus, Zanzaroo was born.
